Hi
There
The briefing in the morning was basically how to ride on the highway against wind, since it was not just me but almost all bikers had the same problem of wind blast against the bike.
As we finished our briefing Richard announced that today is also the birthday of Richard(Hungary) everyone congratulated him .It was now back to the road.

After a short ride it was time for one more attraction -the Cadillac ranch. This place is located in an open ranch and to reach this you got to get down the highway. Spray paint was provided to us to do our own graffiti!!

Thereafter it was back on the highway.Apart from winds, now another problem I was facing was the huge trucks which were zooming past, coupled with wind blast and cold weather was making it difficult to maintain line in the group but than I could see others too having the same problem.
The Magnolia Service Station is a historic service station located on Old route 66. The station, an affiliate of the magnolia petrol company,
opened in 1930. The station was one of the westernmost in Oklahoma
and became one of the first stops for eastbound travelers to buy gas and
auto services in the state. The main building of the service station is
representative of the "house" style of filling station; such stations
resembled small houses in order to fit into residential areas
This is an Red Indian arrow sculptor just behind the station

Just opposite to the station I found this famous Texas, however the statue was brought from New York!!
After another hour of riding it was time to reach the mid point .This is the place from were both Chicago and Los Angeles are at equal distance. It is a fairly simple place but it has been turned into a major tourist attraction what a brilliant concept.
The lady at the mid point cafe was very surprised and happy to meet me in fact she took a selfie with me .Very warm people and it was not obligatory to buy anything from the shops and you can still use their wash rooms.
It was time for Richard to get gifts this time Peter gifted him with a sheriffs badge and shades.
While Matthew brought a card and got all of us to sign it, what a camaraderie only true bikers will do it.
Richard and Agnes going through the card
The next brief halt was at the Canadian Escarpment, basically a point /place which marks the elevation of ground ,there is also a park build near it.
Thereafter Richard took us to an isolated road to show us an abandon small town complete with police station. It was also place for selfie and to take off the warm clothing as it was getting warm.
Before the next brief halt it was time for a quick photo at the New Mexico state line Thereafter we moved a short distance to Russells truck stop.In fact it is not a truck stop it is a mini supermarket and a vintage car museum, what a concept never ever imagined someone could convert a normal fuel station into such a brilliant trade center.

After riding on such a beautiful road it was time for our night halt in Santa Fe .Its also the place were we will spend an extra day.
After checking in our rooms, the night out was planned at the famous Cowgirl cafe, its basically cowgirl themed cafe .I somehow did not find it that great, it was an average place,in fact there are better options in Santa Fe.The vegetarian Salad I ordered was atrocious .I would recommend to avoid this place.

With sweet dreams and plan to getup lazily in the morning it was time to hit the bed.
